  64. Try a dipole.  It's only one band, but cut two l/4 peices of wire
  65. and attach one to the center conductor and one to the shield.
  66. Put the entire thing in a big PVC T and your done!
  67. Just trim 2 the right SWR and mount the dipole vertically.

  78. I'm building a 4 element Yagi beam for portable use and am looking for plans
  79. for a good Gamma matching element.  The beam is all metal with a 1" boom and
  80. 1/4" radials.

  82. I've built such beams before with a delta match, but this would be
  83. inappropriate in this situation since the beams will be used by youngsters and
  84. a delta match would be somewhat more susceptible to inadvertant damage by
  85. inexperienced users.  Can anybody help?  Also of great use would be dimensions
  86. for a gamma match for 440MHz using the same boom and element diameters.

  112. I saw an RH77CA three nights ago at a club meeting. I spoke to the
  113. fellow who had it and he was very happy with it also. I haven't seen any
  114. 2m only versions of this ant in the catalogs, so I think I will go for
  115. the RH77CA.

  142. I achieved similar results on a six meter dipole once by
  143. wrapping the co-ax at the antenna end into a small coil about
  144. eight inches long wrapped around a piece of three inch plastic
